黑人 在 中国 {pinyin: HēiRén Zài Zhōngguó} is a guerrilla style ethnographic series that chronicles firsthand experiences of western Black people of living in the People’s Republic of China. These members of the African Diaspora are “western” by experience, hailing from the Canada, the Caribbean, Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the United States, and Venezuela. Their professions range from diplomats, students, to educators, to entertainers, to entrepreneurs, all attempting to amalgamate and function to the life of the People’s Republic of China. Their experiences include the cities of Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Haerbin, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Jinzhou, Lishui, Macau, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Taipei, Xi'an, Xiamen, and Zhangjiagang. All of the participants happily shared their likes, dislikes, business experiences, and advice to provide a voice to the Black expatriate voice of China.
