Power To The Parents: The Gwinnett SToPP Story

From frustration to frontline activism, two parents launch a movement to stop the school-to-prison pipeline and transform punishment into possibility. The Gwinnett Parent Coalition to Dismantle the School to Prison Pipeline (Gwinnett SToPP) formed to lead a parent-driven, community-centered partnership approach to dismantling the school to prison pipeline in Gwinnett County. The mission of Gwinnett SToPP is to build and strengthen relationships with the community in two constructive ways – parent/community advocacy training and policy-change facilitation.

The documentary has been listed as a Semi-Finalist for the May 2026 Austin International Art Festival. It was an official selection of the 2026 Cinema Royale: Paris Edition.
